Free Body Diagrams

Free body diagrams are a visual aid in which we draw all of the forces acting on an object as vectors. The direction of the arrow represents the direction of the force and the length of the arrow represents the magnitude of the force. Force diagrams can be a great starting point for determining what will happen to an object.
